It's progress at least they have HEARD of hockey...

Crazy enough even with a young exciting rookie suiting up for the Hornets, I'm starting to notice a little more attention from people here regarding the Canes. Even local sports talk radio has mentioned them a couple of times, and it wasn't the usual "hurr durr Hockey ain't a major sport/Raleighs team" crap.

I think more and more people here are finally starting to get the memo that until proven otherwise, the Panthers and Hornets are going to be mediocre at best, and the Canes are right now the best shot at a legit contender in this region. And, honestly even though I'm a fan of both the Panthers/Hornets, I'm okay with that. Between the 3, Canes are first always and forever.

Still wish the Checkers thing was still a thing, but that's for another day.

I'll be honest I'm actually trying to pay attention to the Hornets for the first time since Zo played in Charlotte due to Ball. Dude's a gamer and will be fun to watch until he inevitably tries to go to whatever the super-team of the time is when he gets to FA age.

I'll be honest I'm actually trying to pay attention to the Hornets for the first time since Zo played in Charlotte due to Ball. Dude's a gamer and will be fun to watch until he inevitably tries to go to whatever the super-team of the time is when he gets to FA age.

Even the Kemba years it was rough watching him constantly carry a bunch of overpaid meh players on his back night after night. If nothing else, Ball makes them somewhat relevant.

Panthers... I think they need an O line first... They have Paradis and...... (They must resign Moton) and I figure Samuel is gone.. Look if your QB drops to you you can take him but he needs an O line before you let him start...

Well they got a new GM today so we'll see how that goes. I'm still not entirely sold on Tepper (MLS will be his new baby soon) but I definitely don't miss Richardson.

It’s nice of PNC to let their logo on the helmet be in line with the Canes color scheme. These logos like the Pens and Canucks have on the helmets that don’t match look like shit.
