Carolina's got a really good team but these games are winnable. I don't if all their long range shots are helping Igor but they sure ain't hurting and up goes his save %. Rangers shot selection is a lot better than theirs. It's possible we'll finish this in the next one but it might be an even rougher game than tonight.

Canes players don't seem as controlled emotionally as they need to be. I think it's dawning on at least some of them already that no matter what they do they're going to wind up on the short end. Their two major issues are Igor and our special teams and we didn't get a power play tonight but that shorthanded Kreider goal no doubt got them doubting themselves.

It's good that DeAngelo is running around looking for shit----he's never been very good defensively and it takes his mind off things that he should be focused on.
