Not going through 20 pages... but why the hell did I lose the overtime on my dvr? Switched games? Are you kidding me? Unacceptable....

I voted Shesty, Chytil and Vesey. Shesty goes without saying, Chytil for being back out there and looking good and vesey for punching somebody straight in the face. We didn't have Rempe in and we got pushed around a bit but some of the guys pushed back and I loved seeing it

During the game Boucher (who low key stinks) was gushing about Svechnikov and saying the Rangers don't have a player with that kind of strength and skill combination. I'm sorry, is Chris Kreider not on the Rangers? He's the prototypical power forward in today's league, even at his age he's among the very best. Not to mention Zibanejad who is a big man himself and an elite player, playing his very best right now. I just found it weird with him proposing it like this was some mismatch where we're the deficient team - it just really feels like there's a real disconnect with the larger hockey media and what the Rangers actually are and how good they actually are. They won the President's Trophy for a reason and yet everyone still seems to think they're the same team from 2022.

The isles board is a fun read the last couple of pages. They hate the Canes bad. It's almost shocking how they're talking up our team, unlike that bitter fanbase in NJ.

I think he misspoke. Accidentally saying Rangers instead. The Canes dont have many players like Svechnikov and a majority of the team arent like him. He still stinks though.

To be fair, they only had 4 more points than the 2022 team. That team had a very good record too.

f*** that franchise and some of their fans but the majority of them aren't idiots. They went through it, they know what the Canes are.

Devils fans are dumb as spots fans can be.

Ah, well in that case I would agree with him - but then it even further proves my point that he stinks because he butchered that delivery if that's what he was getting at.

My points about the hockey media at large still stand though, I guess I don't need to dump it all on poor ol' Boucher, but I will because he stinks and I don't like him.

Yeah and that kind of proves my point. This team is night and day on the ice and in their process and how they're coached and everything. That team was what it was, an overachieving team for sure. This team has been the real deal all season. They may not win it all, but they are a legitimately elite team and they've been talked about like they're lucky bums all season. They play they way they do by design, with intention and a plan and the lineup is littered with elite talent at all the right positions, has an elite goalie and elite special teams. Those are all KEY ingredients to a Stanley cup champion caliber team and it just feels like the Rangers have everything and have done nothing but back it up on the ice and still feel disrespected.

I know this a little bit of "other than that Mrs. Lincoln..." but other than that period of two months when they were the Ottawa Senators they had a record that prorated would rival last year's Boston team, or just below.

I almost feel like the three games being so close is a benefit to the Rangers. If they just beat them by 3+ every game you can say that the Canes didn't give them the best shot and need to play better. But we've actually played at a very high level despite the Canes giving it their all. Only game where that might not have been the case was game 1.
