Never been this nervous of 3-0 lead. If there’s a team who can get 4 straight, it’s the canes.
Rangers are pressuring them like the Canes play all year. They can't handle it with it's done to them.I don't remember the Canes turning the puck over in the neutral zone as much as they have done in this series.
man I just hope Fox can get healthy, we'll need him. Close it out in 4 to give him some extra rest. And get him some Soviet Union Olympic team steroids to inject into his knee.

My brother and i were friendly with all the canes fans around us all night, high fived them on the canes goals (we were guests of canes fans with a 9 year old) and kept the vibes chill in out section. Saw a fight in the parking lot. Idiots.Yeah. They got loud and mouthy in our section after that goal. Made celebrating that win more enjoyable.
Put that in my veins.Your avatar is still elite lol
Dave totally threw Sam off lolI love these 2 old men
That is crazy considering the game 1 of the playoffs the 4th line had and they way the third line has possessed the puck in the o zone.every single goal this series has been scored by our top 6.
0 from the bottom 6
0 from the D.
crazy.
Roght there with you, was dd at the game tonight, you don’t need it.I am shocked by this game. I haven't drunk alcohol for 1.5 years and it's very difficult for me right now.
Put that in my veins.
Do you feel like I do? I'm on it tonight!
Thankful Kreider went 70% during the regular season so he can turn on the jet packs once the playoffs startThe speed burst of Kreider blowing past Burns for the shortie must have been 500 mph
Agreed, I just wish that he wasn't so allergic to scoring.I thought Wennberg played a hell of a game again.
He is the glue of that line and the bottom six.
So many little things he does to keep the structure of the game consistent.
Defensively he was impeccable
I'd be lying if I said I didn't have the feels while listening to him in the locker room. So happy for the kid.
I'm probably biased, but I thought it was an impressive game. He very obviously looked out of place in the first period, and in some ways playing wing was screwing with his defensive zone instincts; I noticed him kind of floating around in between where he should be as a wing and where he would be if he were playing center a few too many times. That said, he definitely settled in as the game progressed. Everyone will tell you about the highlight reel play where he dangled the defense and came close to potting one, but I thought he was noticeable offensively a handful of other times too, including a nice feed to set up Wennberg in the slot and a couple heavy forechecks that were disruptive to Carolina. How was chytil?
I have a question. I had no problem with the broadcast but it kind of bothered me when they said on Kreider's goal that Kreider ran into a Cane (Aho?) as if the refs missed a call. Looked to me like a Cane ran into Kreider.
Incorrect on PIT.One win away from being the third team in history, to sweep the first two series of the Stanley Cup playoffs. (EDM '83, PIT '92)
