I know I've been harping on this a lot lately, but it seems like we have trouble scoring the game after putting up a six-spot scoring all "that's hockey baby" goals. We think we can get these whenever we want, so we stop doing what we need to do.

Svech's goal last night came after Staal just threw the puck to the front of the net. I know folks were comparing it to Turbo's play from the other night, but it wasn't the same. Turbo was looking for Aho. Staal was just putting the puck in a dangerous area. And it worked. We didn't do enough of that last night. When we did -- toss it to the front of the net, hack and whack, create chaos -- we finally scored.

I worry going forward that we don't do this enough.

Getting Haula back might help here, since this is basically his natural style of play.
