“The Svecher” or “Svech-ing” will cause some interesting defensive decisions for coaches.
They have to go challenge the guy behind the net sooner. That leaves in front a little more open and/or requiring a high defender to rotate down and leaves the slot more free for shots or pinching. If a guy rotates down it would be harder for them to get out of their own zone and maintain possession while doing so.

They stay with the typical defensive posture of boxing out in front of the net with sticks on the ice to stop passes which leaves Svech the option of trying it again.
goalies will have to react now to. Do they leave they high corner open and risk one? Do they cheat more to the corner to protect it leaving the back door (where Aho sneaks in) more available?
these two attempts could have a larger impact on opposing teams than two crazy goals. I think it would take a couple more successful attempts before anything changed but interesting to think about.
