Maybe I'm just a hockey visionary and nobody has thought of this before, but it seems like maybe having more than one player near the net might allow you to do something with loose pucks in front of open nets. Dunno, just a thought.

It just baffles me that the coaching staff doesn't have a better power play plan.

there isn’t a plan that is going to fix this without a great shooter, one timer or a guy who can break down a team

Our system isn’t that much different from others in the league.

Our system isn’t that much different from others in the league.

Given our PP passing I don't know if a sniper (Even Ovi) would help but so much cause it relies on putting the puck in their wheel house.. and not in his skates.

They did- they got TDA, who passes much quicker, and Bunting, who has some concept of disrupting the front of the net. They did pick up a few players who should, in theory, help. What they didn't do was change the coaching, which is what we really need.

First 4 minutes of the 2nd will answer that. If they come out and control play whether they score or not we are in good shape. If they come out pressing and start chasing again its over

I see early season Raanta is where he usually is. Unfortunate, but not unexpected. Orlov is too aggressive to play with TDA IMO.
