Injury Report: Stolarz Stretchered Out Of SBA During Game 1

Sam Bennett walks away scott-free.
As expected.

What a frakking joke this DoPS the NHL has.
The "funny" part is that we, as a fanbase, have a reputation about bitching up a storm against officiating for no good reason.
And then we have BS like this going on every single year.

George Parros is a slobbering vegetable. Him being the head of the DoPS is basically the hockey equivalent of a certain neighbouring country stacking its cabinet with the most braindead cretins it could possibly find.

I wonder how bad Bennett is going to feel when he is harassed all game next game and driven into the boards every chance the Leafs get.....with obvious extra curricular activities attached to every hit.

This is what has to happen. We did it to Greig last series and it worked wonders on taking him out of the games.

Make every effort to be a bit harder when Bennett is on the ice, make him know a hit is always coming.

Florida has no shortage of dirty players, but that´s neither here nor there.
Within the rules of the game, go after him with everything you got. Hit him hard, hit him as often as possible. All above board, no cheap shots.
Make him dread seeing a blue shirt on the ice. Rinse, repeat.

Lets hope Stolarz is good. Either way it doesnt change the fact of what the NHL has made this series, Bennett will have a target on his back along with Marchand and Thachuk. To be honest no one on the Panthers is safe. If liberties are allowed as the NHL has stated with this non suspension. Its open season.

Let the games begin.
It doesn't work both ways. We know this. Anything slightly dirty and the Leafs will be decimated by DoPS.

That guy is smug on most days, when he gets the attention of the Toronto media his head balloons to ridiculous proportions
He knows exactly what he's doing - act the part, grab all the attention, and guess what?

Everyone's talking about him and Sam Bennett today, and no one's talking about how poor his team played through 40 minutes yesterday, or how the Leafs may have planted a huge seed of doubt in his goaltender.

He did this exact same thing after the Bennett-Marchand situation last post-season too.

At some point, you have to accept that he's really damn good at it.

It's true, he's quite media savvy. Again, he's quite hardened after spending his time in media fishbowls like Toronto and Winnipeg.

Craig Button with a take

Now I understand what happened. Sam Bennett plays hard and on the edge. He plays in a way that gets people upset. This is a hockey play.
The laugh to start triggered me.

f*** you Button.

Craig Button has always been a dweeb. He’s basically TSN’s “answer” to Nick Kypreos.

Why what happened what's the word on him
Berube responded to questions of Stolarz playing tomorrow night and whether he had a concussion with "We'll see."

I'm hoping that Stolarz is good to go for Game 2 but am prepared for the possibility that he might not be ready just yet.

If we watch it objectively... If Stolarz stand up, still in the game and feel good... nobody would talk about it.

Jensen on Tavares was by far worst than that but JT

We can just hope he will be ok and move next focusing on what we could do to win next one
