I think he’s getting 1 game, the fact that he didn’t come out to speak to the media is telling. If it was unintentional, you come out and say I didn’t mean to do it and own it.

It’s the Leafs and Parros. That’s all we need to know to know nothing significant will happen to Bennett. We have enough evidence over the years with how Parros has handled Leaf players being targeted.

Bennett may be able to explain this away as accidental. You can see he stepped on Stolarz’ stick and slips right before his arm extends.

It likely was at least partially deliberate, but I’m not sure how the DOPS handles the issue of proof of intent.
