Injury Report: Stolarz Stretchered Out Of SBA During Game 1

The stretcher was quite possibly just a precaution as any sign of a concussion + vomiting has to be taken very seriously (as pointed out in this thread several times already). They can't have him walking, even with help and risk him collapsing.

In any case, I would be very surprised if he's back between the pipes anytime soon.

Bennett is a complete piece of shit. f***ing lowlife bum, he used to be teammates with Stolie too.

Hopefully the NHL actually does something this time, it's getting a lot of attention and they react based on outcomes rather than the action, which is f***ing stupid but hey Stolarz left on a god damn stretcher so something better happen.

Bennett is one dirty player. It was obvious he'd try something early in the series.

Dirty player, dirty team. Ekblad gets 2 games for Hagel, after 20 games for Roids. Tkachuck was lucky not to get a suspension on Guentzel hit... it's the way the team plays, it's their strategy... every year, nearly every series.

Send a message.

I've thought this too but that NHLPA has absolutely zero shame at all the way they stick their head in the sand. They learned long ago that there is no requirement of competency, so they can play favourites all they like.

The head shake that just about every goalie does every 20s in a game?
Looked like he was making sure the mask was on. I’m not minimizing the injury, but that’s obviously what that shake was. Doc hasn’t played goal. Sure it could be a combo puck to the mask elbow to the head. Doesn’t matter, Bennett is going to pay one way or the other.

The nhlpa is as guilty as anyone about all this. They've actively decided they in will out more efforts into protecting dirty players than protecting injured ones.
