Saad is the only NHL player to never break a sweat in a game. Double, triple, quadruple OT, doesn't matter, the guy never sweats.

Dallas claiming him would be smart considering they have the space and would bring a potential veteran who could bring them up in the standings. I still believe Saad is a good player, but I think a team will claim him that's looking to contend and have the space.

I'd say Winnipeg but they don't need him as we have Niederreider.

Thank goodness, dude is so terrible to watch. Doesn’t use his size, doesn’t even look like he’s trying most of the time. Completely invisible and worthless.

Super streaky but consistent production. Goes long long stretches of being invisible. Then gets hot and somehow gets to 20 and 20. We don’t need that right now, we need ice time for other guys to see what they are. Makes sense, I’m surprised there wasn’t a trade to be made though.
If he didn’t have next season at 4.5 would’ve been interested in the Stars taking a look; much like the Dadonov/Gurianov trade where Dadonov has been really good since a change of scenery.

Could be a precursor to trading him with a sweetener attached. Washington waived Kuznetsov who cleared and then they traded him with retention to Carolina. This just checks if anybody would have him for nothing at current cap.

I bet Brandon was really...

...upset about the situation at first, but then came to terms with the situation and accepted that this was an opportunity to position himself for a move to a contender, even if he has to put in some time in Springfield until the 2026 TDL.
