Kind of like how someone reads an advanced stats page and thinks that makes them an expert in evaluating goalies? Look up what Wayne Gretzky has to say on the subject. He says exactly what I just told you. What were Bob's advanced stats a few years ago? Irrelevant now, aren't they?

Advanced stats are fake because a goalie had a good set of playoff runs (the advanced analytics show that Bob has had 2 excellent layoff runs)?

Gretzky is a better evaluator than you are and understands the game far better than you ever will. Never said advanced stats are fake, but they can be extremely misleading. And very good goalies can go through stretches where they have bad stats due to a number of factors. Ullmark has great regular season stats, but I prefer Binnington over him in a playoff series. But think whatever you want.
