That's not going to get the Kings into the playoffs. He has to elevate his play and play like a no. 1 goalie. Even with Quick's imminent return, there's no guarantee how Quick will do. Maybe he might re-injure his groin, or get injured elsewhere.

His 7 shutouts this year is very impressive. But he just isn't capable of making the difficult saves. No fault of his own.

I think it's more of a psychological endurance he lacks, Onetime. He's a great number two (going off this season). He has fight, he just isn't there mentally for a 50-60 game season.

I don't know. I see him more as not quite big/fast enough. He's not that explosive, he doesn't take up a lot of the net. He's just solid, which on the Kings is great a lot of nights. But when we break down he can't overcome it.

The problem is our 2nd string back up is the starter and the actual backup can't stop the puck. Lombardi pick the worst of the all the FA goalies this year.
