Surprised not more votes for Nash. I really was going back and forth in my head between him and Stepan. The reason give it to Stepan is because he shows more effort defensively, also he really had to up his game a lot, plus Nash is just so much more physically talented that I feel like a lot of Step's production is from his effort.

The fact that there is such little competition for this year's award speaks volumes about this year's team. In past years, we had plenty of options - Cally, Dubi, Prust, Girardi, Boyle, etc.

Stepan will probably win it but I'd like to see Hank win another one of these.

If Hags kept up his scoring from earlier in the year it'd be a no brainer for him to be one of the top votegetters, but he's cooled down recently so people forget about him.

Changed my vote to Girardi. He is far from our best D-man and is having a pretty up and down season, but he's still a warrior to me. The man eats shots and never *****es about it.

I think people are voting for Steps because this level of play wasn't expected from him, which is sort of the entire point of this award.

That's why I voted for Steps anyway.

The effort and overall performance from Stepan this season is exactly what this award is all about. He's made us rangers fans proud, and he deserves it.
