Bensen is going to be great but all those 3 could be really difference makers and steals for sure

If we’re going deep into the pot I’ll take Cam Allen in the fifth for Washington. He was discussed as a potential top ten pick to start the season but had a rough year in Guelph. That said, he crushed the combine and has all the physical tools to be a good NHL defenseman.

Loved the Cristall pick as well.

Yep, this is who my mind went to first, it was a nightmare year for Allen - even with the year he had, the 5th round is really low. There is definitely an NHL player there, maybe not a high end one that we once thought, but definitely one that can potentially carve a top-4 role someday.

I’m starting to think Dvorsky was a steal at 10 obvi way too early and high in the draft to say it, but man he’s been impressive so far. Can’t wait for WJC

I thought the Canes got a steal getting Jayden Perron so late. He’s got great edges and acceleration. Being able to change directions really quickly is such an underrated skill.

Moore and Benson in the 1st round, Minnetian at 120ish is a steal, I think he's got high odds of being an NHLer and was most likely drafted late because he's not 6 feet tall
