He has a good point. Barkov should have gone to the net strong. Instead he try's a difficult pass to a 4th liner and failed. He just needs to be more assertive sometimes and take the more direct route and stop being so cute.

vendetta isn't saying Barkov is a bum or our worst player. Might be some misunderstanding. Barkov does disappear quite often, and one or two nice plays doesn't cancel that out.

Barkov doesn’t disappear often. You guys are confusing him with a Mackinnon like player who relies on physical gifts of speed and bullish aggression. Barkov is a calculated assassin on the ice and makes a lot of great little plays that go unnoticed. I mean the guy is a PPG player I don’t get it. If this is him disappearing then when he shows up we’re in for a treat.

I think he misses Huby 5 on 5 more so than Huby misses Barky, but Hubs does have the better players on his line.

since you’re vague booking about me I’ll just say that yes - anyone who would seriously state that Barkov is a problem and/or isn’t playing well enough probably doesn’t understand the sport very well
