I had a longer post but I deleted it.

I posted, like many others, this is GOONIES is space. I like the series. I watched all episodes and for me, I read some of the hate on line and for me the answer is obvious. The haters are not getting the fact this show was not or anyone over say 15. It was aimed at young teen and kids.

To enjoy the show? Turn off your adult brain and have fu

The bar might be set low, but this is some of the best SW that Disney has done

I enjoyed it. It was better than Ahsoka, Mando S3, TLJ, ROS, OU812, and 650,000 ties better than the Acolyte

Great season through and through. I do think this show gets away with a lot more because it's geared toward kids but the show entertained me throughout. I'm glad the villain didn't pull a 180 and redeem himself. That actor did a great job. The best Star Wars shows continue to be the ones I think will do the worst. Minus the acolyte.

Good ending, although it did feel a little rushed at times. Just a fun show. It's too bad it followed the dud that was The Acolyte and apparently didn't do very well in terms of viewership, so i doubt they do another season.

Also, there was a point in the finale where a ship did something that caused me to geek out probably too much.

I like that for once we have a force sensitive character that is neither Jedi not Sith. I still wonder if there is a relation to a book character with a similar name.

So no word on a second season but rumor has it some of the characters will appear in the Dave Fillion New Republic movie.

Solid season finale

Not sure if the viewership holds for a second season. There are a few places it could go but it also works as a stand alone story.

I read it had really low numbers, I believe the lowest of any Star Wars series.

So I doubt we see a second season, unfortunately.

At least the writers went at it as if there would only be one season and there was closure on the storyline.

The kids aren’t lost out in space still waiting for season 2 that never comes.

I didn't watch any trailers before starting it, so I assumed Skeleton Crew would be more along the lines of the other Disney+ Star Wars series. So I think I was just in the wrong mindset for the first episode. But after I got recalibrated, I enjoyed it and was recommending it to my friends with kids who are about the same age as the protagonists.

I definitely had my brain turned off but during the finale, I was a little confused with regards of when in the overall Star Wars timeline the show was taking place.

In reading the reviews on line. I do not think the reviewers understand that the show is not aimed at adults
I think most reviewers like it. it has a 91% on rotten tomatoes (85% among "top critics")

But ya a second season might be a longshot.

Watts said this about what the future may or may not hold in store for the series:

"In terms of what we're doing next, we're excited to talk to everyone, but obviously everyone has their hands full right now dealing with the tragedies of the fires. But we're excited. We're happy that people are finding the show as well. We've slowly been building viewers over each episode, so that's a really exciting thing to watch that grow, and the word of mouth has been really positive."

"So we're excited to get back together with everyone and talk about the future soon."We have ideas in our heads for sure. We're waiting to find out what everyone else thinks, but we've always had an idea of where this could go even before we made the first season. So there's lots of potential out there and hope everyone sees that."

Wasn't really interested in it at first, didn't think it would be something for me. Decided to give it a shot after episode 7 came out and fell in love with it immediately. Just a really fun and charming show. I thought the finale kind of left somethings unresolved, maybe saving that for the Mando movie or Ahsoka 2nd season.
