Logan’s next step will be how he continues to grow in the summer then how he handles the rigors of 82 games next season. I am pumped with his progress but he has a ways to go still to become a reliable top 4 defender.

Glad he’s in the mix though.

He is hopefully our teams Chris Pronger-lite. Love him or hate him Pronger was effective and other teams hated playing him. Imagine is Stanley had that presence on our blue line. It'll give room for Heinola and Samberg to focus on skill & system and perhaps know their back is covered by Big Ass Stan.

The simple way he plays and his strength, shot, etc... he has a long ways to go, but...

They drafted this guy to be patient and wait for him to slowly develop into a Chara type of defenseman. So far his development isnt looking too bad.

I think Stanley is lower down on the list of current issues, but I also think Fleury should get back in. If Fleury can continue to look a little more solid, (and with Heinola coming back at some point), Stanley should likely just be a rotational guy.

Are you denying what it says? Did you watch the Leafs game?
The 2nd pair was much worse and barely get a mention in that article - that's all I needed in weighing that opinion

They are all rotational until one of them runs away with it - I don't see that happening but who knows

couldn't trade Stanley Plus fleury for J Kovacevic. maybe for D Chisolm.

but let's just keep him forever so we can keep up the witty banter about it all
