I mean, they were the slower team from the 3rd period on. They just hung on, did their best to limit chances in the slot, and got a lucky bounce.

I mentioned it before, I'll say it again - the game ended at 12:25 AM Eastern Time. When a game gets extended like this, it'll favour Vegas.

I just watched the badly-edited highlights on NHL.com. What did I just see?:
-- goal. called back.
-- goal. called back.
-- own goal.
-- ugly crease-crash to tie the game in the dying minutes.
-- own goal to win in OT.

It's a great product these days, in the Cup Finals...

Second-period four points for Marner. Three Hurricanes goals in the third within 39 seconds. Vegas had virtually no shots in the first. Hart was playing well at the beginning, but gave up too many rebounds towards the end. Vegas drastically outhit the Hurricanes.
