I'm considering buy season tickets for next year at $1700 each. Then you get SCF tix for $130 a piece for each game. Only guaranteed one SCF game, though.
Probably the best value.
Season tickets don't give you first refusal on postseason tickets? That's odd.

They said it's a weird situation because the NHL largely handles SCF tickets. Not the teams.

Honestly...I’ve had a shit week. That win...man I needed that. I absolutely can’t wait till Monday.
Football (you call it soccer) and Liverpool FC is my first sporting love, but as I've said elsewhere, the Blues have been my team since mid 80's and I followed them by watching games now and then (almost always in the middle of the night here) and by subscribing to THN and later on online.
So this season I have both my favourite teams in the biggest final of the respective sport. Liverpool in the Champions League and the Blues in the Stanley Cup finals. I'm not asking for much but can both teams please win.

The first round, we got the chance to pre-buy before they went on sale to the public. After that, I never got a notice to do that. It seems to me that the team handles all the first round stuff and the games are on Fox Sports MW with the local crew, and after that, the national tv takes over and the NHL becomes more involved in ticketing.

Woah. We got the whole band back together in this thread. This party is going to be an absolute banger if we pull this thing off. I can't even imagine the parade. I just want to see it so bad. Wouldn't mind seeing Boston win next year as Backes was a great soldier for us for many years, but this has to be the Blues' year. It's right there for the taking!

Existing season ticket holders should have the option to buy tickets to all home games. People who aren't season ticket holders that purchase a full plan for next season only get a guarantee of one game.
Giving a new season ticket holder the ability to purchase tickets to all the games would create a situation where resellers could sell the SCF tickets for more than they paid for the season tickets.
