They will have to re-sign Bouchard this off-season, kid will eventually earn big money. They are stuck with Nurse and Campbell's contracts. It will be hard to move RHH as well. If Holland can manage to re-sign Draisaitl I will be schoked. Drai will look for a contract similar to MacKinnon, Matthews.
How about this? If Edmonton doesn’t re-sign Draisaitl I will never post again.

Vegas made some good trades. Stone for Brannstrom was a steal. Eichel took a lot of guts.
See, that's it exactly. People disregard how many fantastic signings and trades Vegas actually pulled off in order to build a team that has a complete lineup, able to match or outplay every tier of their opponents' teams. Star power, high-end depth, and a trio of large, mobile, skilled defensive tandems.

They're one of the most "complete" teams that we've seen in a long time.

Don't know what Ottawa was thinking on Stone trade

I had my doubts for a while. Because they had gone to the cup with a bunch of rejects and it had worked for them. I felt it was a mistake to break that chemistry to go get a bunch of superstars from everywhere like Pacioretty, Stone and so forth. It's like they got close to the sun and had stars in their eyes and suddenly they had lost sight of the reason to what got them there. But I guess the missing ingredients was Eichel and a good coach. The East lose it and the west take it once again(Stone-Sens, Cassidy-Bruins, Eichel-Sabres).
This could be a lesson. Eichel, Cassidy and Stone were all reject good for nothin' before they arrived in Vegas. Cassidy was fired after good years serving the bruins. And boards like us feeds the angryness that pushes good coachs and players to the door. There are so many hate/or love bandwagons for X or Y player, that toxic is a bit out of contact with the realility. Because today the reality is saying : Hey you were wrong guys ! Stone, Marchessault, Eichel and Casidy were great in case you didn't noticed.

The Panthers gave their middle finger to the Habs. Can we call this a royal s**** job? Hahaha!! Retaliation for Chiarot.

Not sure who the Habs will draft at #31 but it seems it's a deep pool. By all means if the Jets accept trade the pick for Dubois.

Who did not see this happening?

...only person who was happy about a Vegas-Sunrise finals was Buttman and that was to "prove his point" that hockey in Vegas works...at least while they have a good team; wait for a few lean years and the luster will be gone and a half-empty arena is all that will remain...

...on a side note, this might have been the worst reffed SCF I've ever personally witnessed...absolutely atrocious every freakin' game...

Florida wasn't the same team who beat Boston, Toronto and Carolina. Tkachuk with his shoulder was non factor in Cup Finals. Injuries play a big role. Bergeron went down Boston wasn't the same.

Can tell why Hughes wanted to improve our medical staff. Injuries like Anderson high ankle sprain can't help. But Habs had so many guys comeback from injury to go down again. With same injury. Matheson and Gallagher for example. Then Monahan played on broken foot.

I highly doubt it. Having a very competitive team right out of the gate has really helped to build the sport in Vegas and grown a large fanbase.

Both of them have said that they lied to the medical staff ....... What can they do ?

Well these were surely the most boring playoffs in recent memory. I'm usually glued to the screen for the finals, but this year, it was playing in the background while I did other stuff. Gotta have more. I was getting my kicks watching replays of Shohei Ohtani. Incredible, already a legend. The Goat according to many.
I wonder if these guys will update their video for Ohtani?:dunno:
