2nd and Brannstrom for Stone lol. Vegas was willing to lose some trades to get quality players, something MB was too scared to do.
I remember I called Brannstrom "overrated and I didn't see the appeal" in the prospect forum in 2018 and someone laugh reacted it and said it was the funniest post they'd ever read, and I replied "will it still be funny when he's back in Sweden in 5 years?"

Depending on where he signs this offseason, I could be correct down to the year lmao.

Florida is trying to force a goal. Whether it's frustration or they simply don't know what to do because they're so outmatched, I'm not sure. But it's clearly not going to work.

Finals have been boring and refs have been brutal, but to say that Vegas hasn't been the best team is ridiculous. They have the best 1-12 forward and 1-6 defense. Star talent in Eichel, Stone, and Marchessault up front, phenomenal secondary players in Stephenson, Barbashev, Roy, Smith, and Karlsson, and energetic depth in Kolesar, Howden, Carrier and Amadio. Every forward is committed to a 2way game. The defense has been excellent defensively in terms of positioning, stick checking and shot blocking, it is near impossible to get inside them. Cassidy has done a phenomenal job implementing a system, before it used to be Pietrangelo and Theodore going balls to walls to produce offense but they don't need to do that anymore. Not to mention Hill who has been calm, cool, and collective the whole playoffs.
