True. But you guys drafted Grieg. He looks promisingI would have taken Sillinger who went next.

whatOthmann, and he will never get any love by a majority of people up North because he "doesn't play like a good ol' flashy Canadian boy". Still early to say but in a re-draft Othmann slides into the top-10 and there really shouldn't be any debate. Drury's first draft pick too
HmmmSurprised Hughes hasn't been mentioned with his 6pts in five games with a +/- of 7.
Was arguably the best U.S player for three of the five games and only really had a bad game after he started playing injured in the last game.

If you go back and watch a lot of the goals for the U.S you will find Hughes is doing something to make the goal happen. He didn't get the Assist but was a major contributor to them.Hmmm
Best D ?
Overall.... I think tough to beat what Cooley has done
Coronato has been good also. Reminds me a bit of Parise
Looking at that draft again I think Othmann would definitely move up but probably to the 11-12th spot. Thats not saying anything bad about him it just lots of the players picked ahead of him had career years.HF posters love nothing more than saying "and it's not even close" or "there isn't an argument" about everything. It's not even a year since the draft. And sliding into top ten is only moving up six spots anyway. Edit: I just found out Othmann is from Scarborough, so actually you're right and he should have gone first.
I haven't watched much, and everyone talking about the scoring numbers in a short tournament is a dummy, but Mathew Knies looked like he had really slow reaction time. Didn't skate very well. Kid isn't Todd Bertuzzi. He's looking like we can home he turns into Bryan Bickell. That's the thing that stood out to me the most.
Both Zellweger and Andrae are shorter Ds... but look built/good lower base like a Torey KrugFrom Anaheim.
McTavish has been MVP quality, granted for as good as hes been/stats have been there have been chunks of games where he wasnt very good at all.
Zellweger id imagine right now is in the running for Dmen of the tournament(with andrea).
Clang has been really good(granted hasnt been overly tested) making that rakell deal look really good for us.
In general
Andrea Emil has been fantastic
Borderleau was really good for americans
Othman/Greig style has been fun to watch.
How did we miss that? Hughes should make the tournament all-star team and could easily win best dman, although Emil Andrae seems to be single-handedly dragging his team through this tournament.Surprised Hughes hasn't been mentioned with his 6pts in five games with a +/- of 7.

Don't know if your post is real or just a very good sassy/sarcastic reply. How did we miss that? Hughes should make the tournament all-star team and could easily win best dman, although Emil Andrae seems to be single-handedly dragging his team through this tournament.

How is it possible to be disappointed with Hirvonen?I’ve been disappointed with Hirvonen to be honest and Räty is has played right around where I’d expect.
When a player gets hyped the way Hirovnen was pre-tournament (you can thank Leafs fans for that) I expect an MVP like performance. How is it possible to be disappointed with Hirvonen?
I don't remember seeing Hirvonen get a lot of hype before the tournament. When a player gets hyped the way Hirovnen was pre-tournament (you can thank Leafs fans for that) I expect an MVP like performance.
Both Toronto Finns players have been disappointing in my opinion.
Bruh are you for real? Maybe Niemela and/or Knies got hype but definitely not Hirvonen. He's been great anyways. When a player gets hyped the way Hirovnen was pre-tournament (you can thank Leafs fans for that) I expect an MVP like performance.

I disagree. he has been a puck hog and hasn’t been nearly as good as his stats indicate.Bruh are you for real? Maybe Niemela and/or Knies got hype but definitely not Hirvonen. He's been great anyways.
Garand looks decent. Might replace Shesterkin if he asks for 10 million+
Suchanek was fed to Canada and USA... Faced around 90 shots and is above .900.
Spacek leads us in minutes.
Kulich, mysak, sapo, strucz and gut have been good.
