I think Freddy is at his potential. It's his 7th year in the NHL, what you see is what you get. Yes he may have a career year and score 25, but looks like he is a career 15 - 20 goal a year player. Not bad, just a solid 3rd liner, so spend accordingly.
With the way the cap is going up what do you feel is appropriate?

Winning at home losing on the road going sort of .500 will not get them in looking at how Detroit and Ottawa have both risen and Tampa is still in there. There's no way I see this team getting on a long winning streak which is what it would take.

Sell. Sell big.

Sweeney won't sell by March trade deadline. They have enough teams left on schedule they will beat to keep them with in hailing position of WC 2.

Only question is if he trades #1's to patch holes upfront.

They will flame out on Cali roadie. They have shown themselves to be massive homers.

They need to go home and think about what they've done
That should take a little less than a minute or two. :sarcasm:

I understand in a way their coming home two-days off take today off and right back at it on Friday, but dam their fighting for the lives to get a playoff spot and the Majority of these guys are a few days away from a 2 week vacation.

On pace for 88 points.

The math just doesn’t work.
Barring them going on another run like they did when they axed Monty, it ain’t happening.
Absolutely. Here's projected standings based on points as of today, along with Goal Differential to date. Based on GD, it's hard to imagine how NYR isn't ahead of them already.

Using projections B's fall in dogfight for 9/10/11/12 spot. Don't do anything rash Donny Sweeney - doesn't need to be blown up, but don't you dare trade any prospects of picks for anything but prospects and picks in return.
