Kinda crazy that he's probably going to put up a career high for most players that ever played and he's considered "cooked"

I'd love to see him on a contender in a 2nd/3rd line role, think he'd do great tbh. The fact he's putting up 30 goals on a season from hell on a horrendous team is honestly kinda impressive to me.

In his defense, Nashville has no one that gets him the puck on the PP in a good shooting position. It's constantly in his skates, ahead/behind him and this is where Kucherov is so good. Honestly, Nashville doesn't have any great playmakers which is causing a lot of this years problems. It's not fun to watch, you see Stamkos waiting on the dot only to receive a pass that he can't do anything with.

All that to say, I think the truth is somewhere in the middle, he was a byproduct of Kuch and also one of not having guys who can pass.

I think you said it best. At all the games I've watched him this year, whenever I see him hovering around the circle, the puck is in his feet , or behind him and rarely tape to tape. I hope Barry can see this and maybe spend some time with the coach or bring in someone cheap to become his new Kuch ?

With a 4 point game he's now tied for 18th most goals in a season and tied for 2nd most PPG in a season for Nashville. If he can score 4 more goals in the next 4 games he'll be tied for 7th most goals for us.
