Keep in mind a person getting paid millions for his hockey knowledge gave this contract out. Nice hot streak but still cooked
I'd rather have the jobber who is 58 per cent better in the Playoffs than your hockey legendCompairing a hockey legend like Stamkos to jobbers like Huberdeau and Rantanen... Jesus tap dancing Christ...![]()

you are always welcomethank you for the bump brother he's quietly roaring back since this shade you threw
Really it's just Kucherov is THAT good.God, what a ridiculous offense Tampa has that this player could put up 80-100 points in it.
What it comes down to is because of how familiar he was with everyone in Tampa, they were able to fit him in perfectly as a complimentary star as injuries slowed him down and maximize what was still left of his strengths. But in Nashville, where there's a lot more mutual unfamiliarity and he's counted on more, it doesn't work as well. His days of being the main star are long over, though I still think he could work as a complimentary piece on a contender. The only problem is a contender would shy away from his contract.God, what a ridiculous offense Tampa has that this player could put up 80-100 points in it.
I think it's a lot simpler than that. Nikita Kucherov is likely the best playmaking winger in the history of the game. Find another one of those and Stamkos will produce again. What it comes down to is because of how familiar he was with everyone in Tampa, they were able to fit him in perfectly as a complimentary star as injuries slowed him down and maximize what was still left of his strengths. Kuch would be pacing for b2b 100 assists seasons easily, hell maybe even 120 assists if he had Stamkos again lol
Guentzel is a better player than Stamkos at this point, it was either him or Stamkos. So 100 assists is unlikely.Kuch would be pacing for b2b 100 assists seasons easily, hell maybe even 120 assists if he had Stamkos again lol
Yes he would, tf lol?. Stamkos has been his personal cheatcode for years, their chemistry is unmatched on the PP and in 5v5 ice time. It was like a guaranteed 10-30 more points added every year for Kuch just because Stamkos's had a deadly ass shot that Kuch could take advantage and utiliize with his playmaking. Kuch is an offensive playmaking machine akin to Gretzky, the pure vision, assessment, IQ, accuracy, passes and overall chances that he generates every game is akin to 99. it's not outlandish to say that he could pace for 120 assists with a healthy Stamkos.lol no.
Doesn't look like he will hit 30 goals this season.

He has 78 assists right now, but it'd damn near be around 95ish if he had him

Stamkos never could hit 50 goals playing with Kucherov. It was failsure. So why rare 100 assist year should be mentioned as Stamkos big role in this achievment? So why didn't he break 100 assists every other year with Stamkos then genius?
The only reason he broke 100 assist last year was because they were overly reliant on his offense out of need, not cAuSe sTamKos iS a cHeAtCode lmao
Still a difference of roughly 15 million dollars...enough to set up a second family if he wants for generations
Indeed, 70% of wealthy families lose their wealth by the second generation, and a stunning 90% by the third, according to the Williams Group wealth consultancy.
