All I saw was the one showing he had a high top-speed, which means extremely little in the nhl. I’ve heard dudes like Reaves can move in a straight line, they really book it like a drag car, but ask ‘em to take a corner, parallel park- nah mate. He moved extra fast on one breakaway, is all that particular one says to me, or that his isolated breakaway top speed is great, something that doesn’t come up often.
I trust the tech/stats, I just don’t trust their usefulness. They’re a tool, for a certain time and place. They’re not wrong, they just clearly don’t tell the whole picture.
