Hey, Mike, just a thought - maybe, try some other method of exiting the zone? Or just keep doing the same and expect to "out-compete" the very team synonymous with relentless pressure. This worked so well the previous gazillion times.

Nah, we'll just do the same thing and expect different results. Laws of probability state that eventually it will work at least once.

Also pretty maddening we're constantly playing against 2hd and 3rd string goalies. VAN played their third stringer when they came to town. FLA back up twice and then CAR last night. That's propping up our point totals. Mushy middle.

My take...
- Ned wasn't great today.

- Malkin...how many times are you going to go into the zone, and then swing back looking for a cross ice pass? Oh yeah..@Sully: when are you going to realize that GMB isn't working!

- Acciari/Nieto...how many times are you going to get hemmed in your own zone? It's like they almost lived there. I'd AT LEAST swap Glass and Lizotte to see if that does anything. Probably will make L4 worst, and not change L2, but at least try it!

- Our D wasn't bad which was a huge problem a few weeks ago.

Dunno....such a weird feeling.
