Observation: Need to vary zone entries. Why is our puck carrier into the zone always on his backhand near the boards? The Blues also need horizontal passes with layering/wheels to beat a big goalie like Markstrom. Straight-on shots are a waste and non-threatening.

I did really enjoy that qualifier elimination day. That was fun.

And it has been fun to watch games from 10:30AM to 9:30PM everyday in these 1st round match-ups. Working from home makes this possible to enjoy.

I’d love for them to maintain the time format going forward even without the bubble. However, having back to backs in the playoffs is an abomination

Blues looked to be getting back to their game in the second half of the first. Canucks didn't have a shot in like 7 or 8 minutes I think is what Panger said. Gotta get to our strong forecheck and cycle game, wear down their defenders and look for offensive openings instead of looking for quick passes to the middle. The Canucks have those covered especially off the rush.

The hockey gods were kind to us last season. And they offered us another drink from the cup, but we stumbled getting off the couch and they moved on.

We had a lot of the breaks that Vancouver has been getting, Dlr stepping on the puck, Petro stick break, ref kicking the pick lol

blues 1st PP uni is awful

Exact same unit as last year’s playoffs and its just as bad this year. It still blows my mind that Petro is the QB. He is incredibly slow in everything he does. His skating, passing, stick handling, decision making process, and so on.

It really is amazing we won the cup with that PP unit. The Blues had the worst PP% out of any team that has ever won a cup right?

Anyways, that was their worst period of the series and they are only down by one. They were the better team in most periods this series and lost the period many times. Binny looks good, that was an unexpected grade A scoring chance on the goal.
