Someone needs to win a friggin' faceoff in an empty net situation.

Someone other than Zibanejad needs to score our goals.

This team is awful. They were supposed to be a little worse offensively and significantly better defensively. Instead they're miles worse in both. And AV is getting rid of anyone from the lineup that was supposed to improve our defense. I can't wait until that scrub is out on his ass somewhere.

Shatty skated well but had a few unforced errors tonight. 2-3 hiccups on the PP. 1 on the EN goal.

I'm not seeing much from Carey. I wonder if Letteri would be an option.

Not to be a negative Nathaniel but the best thing for this entire franchise is for the team to be out of the playoffs by the quarter season mark and for the entire coaching staff to be fired so we can hire some competent coaches based on merit and not NHL seniority and friendships.

It’s awesome that every time the other team pulls their goalie against us, we can’t even clear the zone let alone score an empty netter. Then we pull our goalie and usually get scored on within seconds like tonight.

Kampfer should be on the first bus to Hartford but knowing AV he will like his game tonight. I mean he was getting regular 3rd period shits with McDonagh so.


The only line that is capable of doing anything offensively is Kreider-Zib-Buch. None of the other lines are able to do anything at all.

Defense as a group was very good. Lundqvist made a bunch of key saves. PP scored a goal and PK nearly had a shorty, killed off a long 5-on-3. The difference in the game was a flukey goal after a 4th liner took a lazy, unforced penalty.

Could have been worse.

AV's personnel decisions are utterly asinine. Kampfer and Carey have no business in an NHL lineup.
