Oh look taking penalties but not drawing any again. Not a surprise. Habs are coached so ineffectively that their players can't even compete hard enough to get us those PPs, but are plenty weak enough on the defensive side that they often have to try cheating to get the upper hand :shakehead

We aren't going to fire an All Star coach. That's ridiculous. He was part of All Star team for a reason. -MB

That was one of the best PK's I've seen in months. Textbook. Why can't they do that more often?

One thing we could count on was bringing our best for home games. No longer. We look nearly as useless at home than on the road lately. Just 4 wins in our last 12 home games coming into tonight. Not entirely inexcusable considering we won 14 of our first 16 at the Bell Centre this year. But this team has run out of excuses: schedule (everyone has the same grind), injuries (ok but now almost everyone is back), mid-season blahs (so? Why do the Habs always have to play like this from December-February?). The excuses fall on deaf ears with this fanbase now.

Here we see a team opposing the Habs that 2 weeks ago was giving up goals like crazy, playing garbage hockey for a coach they were sick of that had ground his players down with his miserable, joyless, gruff demeanour and system. Now look at them. But nah, we'll just stick with the game plan right?
