SSM Greyhounds 2024-25 Season Thread, Part II

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
The 6 seed is still in play if we can hang on tonight. I certainly wouldn't have predicted that a couple of weeks ago! Missing the playoffs is also still in play. What a crazy last weekend.

Edit: We've clinched a spot now, but 6th is still in play. I'd rather get it and play Kitchener myself. They haven't looked like the same team after their disastrous deadline. Windsor has had our number this season.

I really came back to ask if anyone is making the trip to Windsor? We have a small group thinking about going the 29th.

@OHL4Life wanna come? I’ll pay for your ticket. 😂

lalonde will have to steal some victories for hounds to have a chance.
I am guessing windsor will overpower the hounds with there size and getting to the front of
the net. Hopefully they run into penalty problems and Lalonde will make a difference in the series
I think the hounds will have some confidence, knowing they will be able to compete with windsor
and i am sure they are glad they do not have to face the London Knights.

Hounds have been playing their best hockey as of late.

i think it's going to be closer than some think.

Very surprised how poorly Sarnia was for a game they needed to win! The Hounds on the other hand came out determined when facing the same scenario on Friday night vs Saginaw. Yes hiccups and tense moments but the effort was there.
Sarnia on the other hand , facing a depleted lineup failed to compete
Props to Carson Andrew and Jordan Charron. They were determined to make the most of extra minutes
Beautiful play between Mignosa and Cloutier for the 200th point for Mignosa.Love seeing that selfless play between some great veterans
