So you would rather see a Hounds player fail so you can be right than to see them finally get a chance and play well. You're quite a fan.
No. I would rather management realize he's failing and replace him with someone competent rather than have him sink the whole team. Exhibit A this afternoon. 6 goals scored against one of the best teams in the league especially at their rink and he lets in 6 goals on 23 shots. It's not good enough man. Simple as that. I wish he was so we didn't have to scramble for a new starting goalie next year but this is the reality and the sooner you face it and move forward the better for you.

I believe the Hounds will try to trade him in the off season! If you think Lalonde is the answer the fans basically ran him out of town because he wasn't good enough and he played behind a good team! He has also been inconsistent with the Hounds! Bottom line is the organization has done a bad job developing young goalies! If the end goal for the organization is to get 2 home gates to make someone playoff money then by all means play the overage goalie! If that is the case they should have kept Schenkel!

I don't care about this season, its over already. We are going nowhere. Trading miller is what I think they will do too. As far as Lalonde, he is better than miller and why not let a 20 year old at the end of his career play the games? If anything, playing miller will drop his trade stock even more as they will see him play poorly over and over.

I'm placing you on ignore. It's one thing to criticize players now and then, but to constantly rail on a teenager in a series of rants is really unnecessary.

I don't disagree with you but if they had done a better job of drafting and developing goaltenders they wouldn't be in this position! I see no value in playing Lalonde! He is not a part of this team moving fwd! I'd rather play their young goalies now! They would have been better off trading Allard and Carlisle, who is a turnover machine and kept Schenkel!

Thats fine, even though I am not. I challenged you on your point that he hasn't had a fair shot. Then I provided stats. I haven't posted on here since other than to reply to you or others. Posting the fact he allowed 6 goals on 23 shots today isn't "railing on a teenager" it's just a fact.

I agree however we have to consider the fact that nobody actually wanted carlisle and allard lol. One as you said turnover machine and the other has been injured all season long. Decent chance nobody was giving any return on those guys and willing to keep their OA's

I don't think they had any plans to move Carlisle but I believe the ask for Allard was to high! Like most teams they overvalue their players! Kind of like the Leafs! Lol! I place a lot of blame on coaching staff as this team team has no identity. I hear them talk about what they want to do but can't seem to get it out of the players! I am a fan and see lots of potential with their core of young players if they are handled the right way!

apparently Drew Bannister will be in attendance at the hounds games this weekend.
Crickets .....
If there is gonna be a coaching change we need someone who can develope our elite young core and grow with them, not sure Banniater is the answer. Be a shame to see such a talented group continue to play the trap and not pressure defenses when trying to protect a lead which has led to many 3rd period collapses. Makes no sense to just let other teams attack all game long and stand still in neutral zone. Only 1 breakout play where we send puck up boards and tip in and chase puck possession. Best defense is to maintain puck possession. PP is awful, PK is solid.

Kudos to Raftis as we had the best 2023 draft of any team and whispers of Croskery joining the core of Martin, Hayes, Reid, Solomon, Charron, Smith, Andrew and Smith is exciting but need the right coach to lead team to growth and success. Still need to add to the roster but alot of nice pieces in place already to be team to beat in 2 seasons.
