I certainly believe that Allard is an upgrade at OA for about every contender in this league. Not hating the player… ?? …, like Houndz20 said I’m just being realistic about the market. He is a Frasca/Peer type add.
Frasca and Peer both got in the ballpark of 2,2,3,3, which is what you so vehemently disagreed with in the first place. Consider me a little confused. It's the price for a high end upgrade at the deadline.

All 3 players have the same market, is just what I said. Like I said, if someone wants to pay your price for Allard, I will be ecstatic. However I’m expecting a return similar to Frasca/Peer (no more than 1 2nd).

I just think the jump from acquiring one to two 2nds is huge, imo. Allard’s price could go up if someone wants him bad enough. Starting at a very high price though.. Could turn people away. Which is what I’d be afraid of

Now you're really just splitting hairs. You could probably trade Peterborough's 2nd this year for a pair of seconds in the future. It just depends on the years and you can really distort a deal by sending distant picks.

2,2,3,3 around what a player of Allard's caliber usually gets. There are several more good examples fairly recently and they are all in that ballpark.

Stating my same stance over and over again is hardly splitting hairs. The points you make are fair. A “Peterborough 2025 2nd” is worth more than a “London 2025 2nd”, yes, if I’m reading correctly your stance.

I still don’t have to agree 🤷‍♀️.

Bruh you're going to round and round and round till he interprets something he wants to. Or you just give up and say I agree.

Just leave it lol

A return of 2,3,3,5 for Allard would be excellent imo; especially considering a serviceable OA would likely be a take-it or leave-it part of the deal. I think the return for forwards will be less than K.Smith, DeAngelis, McCoy.

Only in IIHF is that a penalty. This is not on Gibby.
If you're playing IIHF you have to know the rules, especially when your teammate got kicked out for the exact same hit.

As far as I'm concerned his was worse than Beaudoin's and I was pretty surprised he didn't get a 5 based on the precedent they set with Beaudoin.

There's also absolutely no reason to try and make that hit at the point in the game.

What a terrible tournament. I'm just glad I don't have to watch Cowan try to be a hero every shift any more ;)

Wrong coach with an obviously flawed roster.
Will definitely be cheering for Finland now with the fronts 2 imports on there. I assume you guys will be rooting for Sweden? Or will some of you guys stop watching?

I agree it looked worse. I have 0 idea how Beaudoin was kicked out but Gibson wasn’t for it. Inconsistent reffing but we already knew this

Hand it to the czechs, they have it down to an art. Throw your upper body to the side and let them hit your legs.

I guess we'll find out soon if these trade rumours about Gibson are true. Otherwise, we should probably expect him to meet the team in Saginaw on Saturday.

He made us proud at the tournament. It's too bad the team result wasn't what we expected.

Don't be surprised if Gibson and all team Canada players get the remainder of the weekend off to finally have their Christmas/family time and to mentally recover from the last month.

Teams are planned to be without them this anyways.

Likely won't see a few players return to their teams at all. (Gibson, Pinelli, Luchanko)
