and i said, diaco was worth 2nd and 3rd and peer is BETTER then him and has more interest. someone will give up three picks based on that. you dont get a better player for the same price.
 
I think Peer is a fantastic fit here. I've cooled a bit on the idea now that D'Intino is back, but would probably still give 2+3.

I'm not surprised we didn't get Beck. We can offer better players than Saginaw even without Martin, but the host always goes all-out for the big fish. I think we are focused on a winger.

The ball has finally dropped and THANK GOD. Let’s move forward now!

I’m super excited to see what Raftis does now that the anxiety of waiting on Beck is gone..

Myself and few others in this thread have mentioned we are a deep team with options, sure you want to add Beck but we have option B,C,D that will make this team even better!!!

As I’ve said before the SPITS will not get 2 2nds for Peer. IMHO no player the Spits are willing to trade will bring back a 2nd. I think Peer will go for 2 3rds and a fifth.

Did anyone think the hit absorbed by Hayes behind the net was suspension worthy? Heck of a great pass to Kostov for the goal but I thought the hit was high, targeting the head! Thoughts?

That would not be good at all. We need Clattenburg in the playoffs. Hopefully it’s Fantino instead. He could score 20 goals as an OA with his shot

Fantino is an 04. I was just going with the information provided and making my best guess. I'd rather Clattenburg than Cloutier or Mignosa.

Clattenburg is very valuable and there's also the picks. The 06 could be a guy like Christopher Brown or Spencer Evans. This is just guesswork.

If Virgilio was available then they would probably have Beck right now, so I'm just guessing that he's not.

If your bar was set at Martin and picks I think you were bound to be disappointed.

Raftis would be tarred and feathered if he moved Martin.
