I like the move of Lombardi staying on as President, making Blake GM, and Futa assistant GM and then firing Sutter.

Blake as GM turns the Kings into the old boys club. All his buddies will get jobs. Nelson Emerson asst GM, Steve Heinze coaching Ontario, Glen Murray Head Coach, **** like that.

That comment by Kopi is telling.

I don't see how Hoven (and you guys) perceive Kopitar's quote as critical of Sutter.

"It starts within the room... We should be ready to rock [next season] on opening night, regardless who is behind the bench" - Anze Kopitar

He's saying it's up to the players to be ready, regardless of who's coaching. Yes, it is raising the idea that Sutter may be gone, but I'm unsure of the context. I'm assuming the question was posed to him about a change in coaching. And that's why he's mentioning it in the first place.
