Venu Sports streaming to cost $42.99 per month, plans fall launch including NHL games.

Disney/Fox/Warner package costs $72.99 per month

Youtube TV $72.99/mo

Which platform is best vs cheapest.

I do YouTube TV during the season because it contains the in market games, that way I get all the Sharks games that arent ESPN+ exclusive

I also do the Disney+ stream bundle with Hulu and ESPN+ plus so I can watch every Sharks game and every national game

I don't know what's cheapest, but I basically start YouTube TV when football season starts and then after the superbowl the questions go, are the Sharks in the playoffs? (lol) Are the Warriors still alive? If "no" to both I cancel until the NBA and Stanley Cup finals and then I shut it off again after the draft, gives me a few months off the bill during the offseason

It's all too f***ing expensive now, it's basically like paying for cable, but at least I can watch on my phone if I want to

Best thing about YoutubeTV is that when I record a game, I can skip all the commercials

As out of market fan, planning on Max (TNT games) and Disney package (including ESPN+) with ESPN add on (for national games).

(And for the ESPN+ blacked out local games have OTA with Tablo.)

Fubo is expensive but they're the only ones that at least offer 4k content and they have NBCSNCA in their lineup. I dumped DirecTV earlier this year because they've stagnated technologically since being bought by AT&T while the cost for my plan more than doubled so Fubo/ESPN+ is what I mainly use.

Fubo still doesn't have TNT, correct? But you can do that and then add on Max (with their B/R sports package, which is still currently a free addition), at least for the playoffs.

I have the Hulu package. I love it. Doesn’t get all games (some random ones that were probably affected by the Bailly Sports issues) but most NHL games and then the in market games. Also a good option to watch soccer and football as well.

it doesn't, but its one of the only streaming services that has NHL Network if I recall.

It hasn't happened yet, but this is a friendly reminder just in case that discussing pirating or other illegal streaming options is against the rules. Not even in a wink-wink-nudge-nudge or "PM me for more info" sort of way.

It looks like YoutubeTV gained some 4k content since I last looked at them. But still no NHL Network for them.

AIUI Fubo and Sling Orange are the only streamers with NHL Network option.

However, FloSports Hockey has a lot of the games that are on NHL Network (college, junior; and I think some of the WJC and IIHF games).

FloSports will also be broadcasting AHL games this season ("ahl.tv"). As of Friday, prices hadn't been released.
