Value of: Chris Kreider

Can’t see a move without retention.

Maybe 25% for a second and prospect.

Complete buy low and on a playoff team he would be a tremendous addition. I’m convinced he will bounce back nicely if healthy.

No.

What value does Murphy bring to NYR? 32 year old pending UFA. Kurashev? Meh. Reichel has been a huge disappointment. I loved him his first full year in Chicago but I'm not sure what has happened the last 2 season's. Your offer is mediocre.
Murphy would be a solid RHD vet to pair with Miller. Additionally, he is two years younger than Kreider who the Rangers are apparently interested moving and makes $4.4m for one more season which is a $2.1m savings this coming season and potentially $6.5m next season if the Rangers let him walk while the Hawks will still be paying the final year of Kreider’s deal. If the Rangers don’t feel they want to resign Murphy he would be a great TDL piece that could used to acquire draft capital.

In order to get this combined $8.6m in cap space savings over the next two years, the Hawks get Schneider but understanding that might be a steep price send back two versatile young(ish) forwards under contract control in need of a change of scenery. Kurashev is one season removed from a 50+ point season, so we know the ability is there. Reichel for whatever reason always inexplicably seemed to be the whipping boy for Richardson and just couldn’t seem to earn his trust but the skill and speed is very apparent.

Does nothing for the Rangers. They get older on defense, downgrade at forward and the compensation for that is Reichel, who is bordering on bust status?

No thanks. Come back with something worthwhile.

As much as I’d love Kreider on the Leafs, you have to think all 7 Canadian team are included on his no-trade list.

He's missed 3 games the 3 previous season's. 243/246 games played. Labeling him as broken down is asinine.
He also only has two years left on his contract; unlike some contracts the Bruins have given out recently, he also could help a PK unit that is in need.

His value is far more than the fantasy world that this website lives in thinks.

There will be no retention and the return will not be a salary dump type return.

I'd pretty comfortably do Robertson/McMann + Kampf + 2nd rounder for Kreider as a leaf fan.

Don't think that'd be a yes from NYR but who knows.

K’Miller + Kreider for Thrun, Halttunen, and 2nd(#53)

Miller can net a first round pick, Brady Skjei did. Similar situations and potential, when Skjei RFA when dealt to the Hurricanes. Since Sharks only have 1, a higher 2ed would be neded

Miller, Kreider to Sharks for Bordeleau, Halttunen, 2ed round (33th overall)

Bordeleau was teammates with Brett Berard in the USHL program.

As a Rangers fan, I wonder what a package of Kreider and 12th overall can get?? I’d like to see them into the top 6 of the draft if possible

As a Sharks fan, I’d do it.
