Dodgers really need to trade puig for some pitching. It's baffling on just how bad their pitching really is outside the top 2.

Mets scored 13 runs last night. Damn. That's almost Kopitar's goal total from last year and most likely more than the Kings will score in December.

Or this month. Given their current pace, they may not reach 13 goals.

I'm imagining a close game, 2-1 Dodgers, heading into the 7th inning, and Mattingly will replace Kershaw and we'll see the bullpen blow another game.

Here's the lineup for Game 4.

A New York Mets fan left Dodger Stadium in critical condition Friday night, Los Angeles police say, after a parking lot fight between Dodgers and Mets fans following Game 1 of the National League Division Series.

Authorities are still looking for the person or persons responsible. ABC-7 in L.A. has more details on what happened:

Witnesses said the New York Mets fan was punched and then fell, hitting his head. The fight happened in the stadium parking lot after the National League Division Series opener between the two teams. People rushed to help the victim and one person, Maria Cerecer, caught the scene on camera.
"I walked closer and there was a gentleman on the floor and was bleeding profusely from the head. We got free rally towels that night, so they were holding the rally towels to his head," she said.
Witnesses said the suspect was a tall man with blond hair.

So much for heightened security at Dodger Stadium in light of the Brian Stow beating. I don't get these jackasses who get into fights at sporting events. Stupid inbred drunks.

Not surprised.

I went to Dodger stadium once to see the Angels in the mid 2000's and swore I would never go back wearing opposing teams colors.

Been to hostile environments around the country, but nothing like being at Dodger stadium that night, and that was just a regular season game.

During my visit last year at Dodger Stadium, I notice how civil Dodgers fans were, and it was an interleague game vs the White Sox.

Sure, I did witness how bad the parking was, but at least they realized that "messing with White Sox fans = messing with Obama."

I guess Putin has been sticking it to the White Sox for a while now.

It's safe to say that Chicago sports is now intertwined with Americana at a deeper level.

If the Bulls won the NBA title, then the US economy would be a bull economy.
If the Bears won the Super Bowl, then the US economy would be a bear economy.
If the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup, then the US was in the wrong in a war it instigated.
If the White Sox won the World Series, then the US public would never live down a publicly-outed wrong.
If the Cubs won the World Series, then Obama would declare Martial Law! :help:

I really don't see how anyone beats the Cubs in a 7 game series. They have by far the most complete team in baseball and the best manager.

Cubs win, Cubs win.
