My concern with Berra is that is positioning is absolutely atrocious and he over commits to the puck causing him to fall backward and flail around like a fish out of water. I've yet to see him look poised.
Berra looked good at TC. You guys are panicking over a game you didn't see. Give it time.
I think the two games he played before this that people did see are probably factoring in as well. Two goals on the first two shots is not a way to put those fears to rest.

When was the last time you saw him play? Before the summer or after it?

7 goals in 60 some minutes on 32 shots...
We are not going to use Bryz, Marty or Budaj. It's never going to happen.
Woah. Whens that from?

This was posted back in January... so I'm assuming that was an Avs/Devils game.
God help this team if Varly goes down.
Ah. Didn't catch that.
I wouldn't be opposed to it if Berra falls flat on his face early on.
I think Roy would just go with one of the young guys, in this case it looks like Will/Pickard/Aitto. Send Berra down to the minors for a little while. It's not a big salary and we've already seen him do it with Wilson and Hunwick.
Brodeur's numbers in New Jersey were only slightly better than Berra's numbers in Calgary. He's not much of an upgrade.
Marty is done, I don't know why any of you would want him. NJ gave him way too many games last year and that's why they didn't make the playoffs.
No, the main reason was giving Marty 39 games. Anyone who watched the Devils/Marty know that.Pretty sure they didn't make the playoffs because they couldn't score goals nor win in OT nor win in SO.
If Varly goes down we have a Berra/Will(?) duo with a bottom tier D. Is that what you want?
