Its almost like there are some very influential people who are bitter about how their seasons ended and are taking it out in the only ways they know how.

It really doesn't work that way behind the scenes. It's easy to believe the mods are a bunch of small-minded jerks on a power trip, but for the most part they're just guys/gals making fast-paced judgment calls to try and maintain a high quality site. Your example above is really strange, no doubt. Perhaps the person read something into it that wasn't really there.

The last thing this country needs is people promoting Cook-Out to other regions. If it spreads, there will be a measurable decline in public health metrics.

But on the other, its hard to forget the trolling that came directly at us for years over things like your typical southern stereotypes and mentions that we are just stupid fans and how we don't deserve a team, and were largely prevented from punching back without being dinged with a warning.

Well I mean after hearing it nonstop from them up north for the better part of 5 years about our impending move and the glut of shit thrown our way, many of which was actually fueled by mods themselves, I would certainly hope that we would finally be allowed to throw some shade their way.

I ain't arguing with you, I am just saying if it was accepted to allow certain fanbases to heap piles of shit against the Canes for years, its not exactly a show of tolerance and mercy to say that we're not being punished for holding a grudge against those same fans now, with comments that most likely regularly cross the line.

Its a very clear and direct cause and effect, and would be utterly bs if what we were saying on here would be cracked down upon. (Mind you, for the most part, we still can't really defend ourselves fully outside of here, despite those piles of shit still being thrown our way)

This may be the wrong forum to ask, but how would you handle a move by the team? Would you still be a fan of them? Would it hurt too much? Would you be a full time Tampa fan? As a group we've had our share of relocation worries and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. It's a shame too since you have an owner with cash to spend and a team that plays hard every night.

Depends on where they moved, basically, but I'd lean towards being a full time Tampa Bay fan with the Canes as my second team. It would probably hurt too much to see them gone.

We can't have fans who do the Viking (Skol) clap, and accept defeat. Victory or death? Miracle comeback? I've seen it happen (sports miracle) for my #1 favorite team of mine feel free to watch! We can do this! Miracles happen. We just have to get our head in the game. We've won at least 4 in a row this season on multiple occasions. We need a new game plan for this Florida team however, unlike other oppoenents they actually play defense. It's like playing Boston in 19' all over again.
