Might not be a bad idea to clear them all out. Giving Engvall a 7-year deal is a fire able offense alone..... and I actually don't mind Engvall.

It’s amazing you think that’s the problem when there is next to zero other talent on the team.

You should know the fundamental differences between these two sports, I can’t even begin to explain how wrong this is.
I'll quote a poster from the NYI board. "Disney on Ice" or as we like to say "Ice Capades" is talented indeed. He's a good 2C. His defense is spotty, he disappears for long stretches and he makes absolutely nobody he plays with better.

For the cashflow he rakes, his inability to hone his game to adjust to defenses, his puck hogging, and the regression of his decision making are glaring

I plenty well know the difference beteeen sports. I was just making an analogy especially since Carmelo was another high profile NY player.

Team's shit and has been carried by the goalies for years. I remember when they faced us and I saw Mike Reilly on the first PP... ouch. Also, Duclair was looking great, it's unfortunate that he got injured so early.

I think if Lou fires the coach, after such a short stint too, his ass is next on the line. Especially since Roy reportedly got 3 year deal so the compensation if they wished to fire him would be substantial. The owners would finally realize the revolving door act with the coaches is just to either mask the roster holes or the inability to hire a competent coach to go with it.

So I'm guessing Roy and Lou go down with the ship together before doing their best to stop it from sinking.

Still the most laughable thing ever he won GM of the year not once but back to back. He owes Trotz so much for making him look like a genius.

More the latter I would say. He's very demanding for what it is or isn't worth with today's millionaire athletes. He holds players accountable and has a winning pedigree

The team seemed excited to play for him when he got there last season. I suspect as the malaise continues this season, it won't be long before we hear the same bullshit we heard before they hired Handsome Lane Lambert. "Barry, er Lane ,now Patrick lost the room"

Losing Duclair hurts but tonight, Elvis lost his stick 3 times and the Isles couldn't score. It's not a coaching issue
Muh accountable.

Millionaire athletes is not some new revelation. Inflation adjusted, they get paid way less than when Roy was playing.
