Do you really think Hall at 50% retained is only worth moving up from pick 65 to pick 55-64?
I’m sure to the uneducated mind using terms like “turning a 3rd into a 2nd” appears valuable but the educated among us realizes you are referencing a maximum 8 to 10 slot gain and possibly as little as 1 slot.
To use your term … that is f*** all.
The player himself holds value.
The retention amount holds value.
The retention slot itself holds value.
You may be new but a team giving all 3 is getting more than the tiny bump you propose, which is not very high in the draft.
If you proposed Chicago moving pick 33 with Hall for pick 23 them maybe you have something workable but again ANYONE who follows the game knows that because the deeper into a draft you get the greater variation there is within each team’s prospect evaluation. Moving a few slots that far into the draft has little/no value. … or as you put it, f*** ALL.
