I doubt Hall is a 50 pt guy but if someone loses a top six he wouldn’t be bad at about $1m going into the playoffs. No?

Nobody is paying a 1st for a 33 year old middle-6 winger at the deadline.
Was good the last time he was in the playoffs. Would not surprise me at all (if he stays healthy and puts up 50 points, which would be the surprising part imo.)

I’s expect a first for Murphy at 50% retained because big RHD and physical.

For Hall, a second and a third is my guess. Donato is someone to watch get packaged up though, he’s played well this year.

If Hall keeps up his form and hits around 45/50 pts, he could possibly get Hawks a 1st rounder, especially at 50% retain.

But why would Hawks pay a 3rd + Hall at 50% just to get a 2nd?

Hall isn't on a 45 pts pace. It may look like it at first glance but when you look at games played by team and number of games he scored pts and factor in games whete he got no pts? Hid numbers are soft. He has 5 pts in last 3 games and he got a hatterick after being healthy scratch. So 8 pts in 4 games. Remove both the pts and gamex played. That gives him 11 pts in 32 blackhawk games.

They are trying to do a pump and dump with him. A few non playoff teams are doing that with players they want to move.

Murphy 50% retained would possibly bring 1st but not many current playoff teams have one. Hall would probably get a 2nd. Only 8 teams currently in the playoffs have a 1st rounder unless Calgary (1st team out) wants to use one of its two late 1sts.

Alec M. and C. Smith maybe a 4th. Even Donato might get moved.

Do you arbitrarily remove points for every player?

Hall at 50% = 3rd (Maybe a 2nd if options are thin and multiple teams really want him)

Murphy at 50% = Late 1st or a 2nd + good prospect (A guy with legit NHL potential from recent draft Davidson may have liked but missed out on)

Donato = 3rd or decent prospect

That is all I see as garnering interest potentially from Hawks roster

ask anyone who uses analytics properly. You break down and reconstruct the numbers and explain them. If you take away those 8 pts in three game it gives you a better view of how his season has been. When you break it down by either month or 10 game segments? His numbers look worse.

firs ten games of the season. 3 pts in 10 games 2 goals 1 assists.
Next ten games? 3 assts
next ten games? he was healthy scratch and then got his hat trick. He gets 5 goals and 2 assists over the next ten games with 3 goals in one game and 1 goal and assist in another, So in 8 games he got 2 pts.

There is no doubt the Hawks are trying to dump him and that is why they are trying pump his stats up. There are about 5 players, when you look at their stats you think they are having a good year but when breakdown and reconstruct their numbers the pump and dump is obvious

I like Murphy and figure he could return a couple seconds or even a low first with the right bidding. A second and a low level replacement seems about right.

Bruins might be interested in re-acquiring Hall. He would provide at least occasional speed to a group that desperately needs it.
