The Guardians game play reveal thing they streamed was terrible and went on for too long so everybody just assumed that the game would be bad, I think.

Finished GotG, great game. The ray tracing mode is really nothing special. Really it only is even noticeable in one area of the game, and the reflections are extremely simplified. For 95% of the game it's better to either have 4k30 mode or the 60 fps mode.

Oh man the supermonkey ba remake is 4k 60 fps as heck on ps5. Always love to see these high resolution clean visuals.

It's a budget title too so it's real cheap. Highly recommend it.

I certainly assumed so after what they had shown.

It seems I was quite wrong.

TV's are better for some games, mainly single player controller based games. But monitors are best for competitive online games. Best to have a setup that allows for both.
100% agreed. In my setup I have my PC connected to two monitors and a TV and all my consoles connected to the TV as well. The only problem I have is that I cheaped out on the TV and got a 4K 60Hz TCL model which is not exactly ideal for playing games with keyboard and mouse because you either have a huge amount of input lag due to VSync or you have to deal with screen tearing. The input lag is a lot less noticeable when using a controller of course but I definitely should've gone with one of the 4K 120Hz models with VRR support.

I didn't even realize that spiderman was not already in Avengers I played it so little. They only just put him in the update that dropped this week. Kind of weird they announced him before release and took a full year and 2 months post launch to drop.

Was looking forward to Godfall as one of the PS Plus games for December.

But then read that it's not actually the full game. You don't actually get any of the campaign or story mode. Just end game content with a fully geared character.

That's pretty low for a PS plus title.

Yeah that’s just… wo

Ps now has been the better deal for a bit now though.

What exactly is the difference between PS+ and PS Now?

From my understanding:

- Online multiplayer is only available with PS+
- Cloud storage is only available with PS+
- Which games are available

Is that right? Is there anything else?

I'm kind of new to gaming and bought PS+ figuring I'd be playing NHL and CoD online, but I've almost exclusively been playing offline single player games. Would have been better off with PS Now, I think.

Yeah I found it to be game pass with a lesser selection of games, maybe not less numerically but from a quality standpoint at least. MS releasing so many of their top games directly to GP sets the bar nearly impossibly high
This is both good and bad.

The Bad: With all their new games on Game Pass I have no reason to go buy a console. I can play everything on my PC.

The Good: I don't have to go buy two consoles to play all the games I want.
