Interesting take. We can't draft guys based on prospect stuff, but rather based on what they did in in the stanley cup playoffs. Huh?

Marek flat out said that Buium was going 3OA the night before the draft. It's not always as simple as the top X teams didn't like player Y. Sometimes players are the second choice of a lot of teams and that causes a fall. Sometimes there's a minority of teams that had him lower than consensus all in a row. Sometimes it's both. The point is not to draw conclusions when we lack the necessary info.

how bout we trade rasmus ristolainen for makar. honest 1 to 1 hockey trade. makar is 5'11" so he sucks, and ristolainen is 6'4" so he's good. Honestly would be a fleece for the Avalanche.
