16 year-old Belgian CB Yorthy Mokio was signed by Ajax this Summer. He was briefly linked with Barca but apparently chose Ajax. Anyway, he’s already played in the first team.

Guessing something like this without Mouki or Beier to lead the line, without Gruda opposite Adeyemi, and with Kleine-Bekel / Morgalla injured again...

Adeyemi - Tresoldi/Topp - Knauff
Reitz - Röhl/Sieb
Martel
Netz - Arrey Mbi - Oermann - Thielmann
Urbig
*sigh* I fear that Morgalla is this generation's Klostermann/Badstuber. An almost perfect defensive RB prospect with very good skill on the ball, who's body just isn't cut out for professional football.

Hadn't realized what a start Wanner is off to. In 172 total minutes; Wanner has a DFP cup goal, a conference league playoff goal + assist, and a Bundesliga goal.

Comfortable win in the end. A lot of eligible kids have already graduated, but there’s still a lot of talented kids in that age group and if we get the kids adjusting to a new league and the currently injured kids for the tournament they could win another u21 euros.

Moukoko
Adeyemi - Wanner - Gruda
Martel - Reitz
Netz - Arrey Mbi - Oermann - Morgalla

@cgf We're killing you at u-20 though haha. You haven't crossed midfield and we just made it 1-0. The left back is your boy from Union. Now it's 2-0 in the 50th minute.

Didn’t watch but our u20 is always bad for some reason. That team even has some real talents on it…Siemen, Blank, Drexler, Rothe, Klemens, Kemlein, Maza, Diehl, Weiper, are all potential senior teamers.

Well you managed the remontada. I stopped watching after 2 0 and you won 3 2 😅

England’s u19s are really bossing this match with no Darvich or Ouedraogo. 1-0 for the good guys though cause the English keeper has been rough, even for a u19 keeper

Darvich was right where he’s supposed to be today, training with Toni Fernandez and the first team at the Camp Tito Vilanova. Scored a well-placed goal in fact. ;)

I wasn’t complaining. Like Wanner, Gruda, Moukoko, Ouedraogo, etc. getting settled at their clubs is probably more beneficial right now than some u19 friendlies, especially since we dominated the u21 qualifiers even without Mouki, Gruda, or Wanner.

Estevao up to 9 goals, very good shot at being the golden boot as Pedro (11 goals) had a season ending surgery.

SP's 18y old winger William scored his 2 career goal in his third game as a starter. Very promissing player. Fast, tenacious without the ball, good dribbler, shots really well with both feet

Fun u19 game between Germany and Spain…at least the half that I’ve seen so far. We started the match very much in the back foot…with the new kid in defense getting beat for the goal…but were able to gain some control and equalize via a Darvich through all to Brunner.

Dardai has been playing in the double pivot again and he’s an interesting talent there…but we definitely miss Ouedraogo against other top teams and the control we have with him next to Darvich.
