Some of their most iconic players in modern club history were Brazilians. Julio Cesar, Amoroso, Dede.
They had lots of players from Brazil until the club nearly went bankrupt in the mid 2000's and they had to sell most of them.

Leverkusen used to be famous for scouting and buying lots of Brazilians, as well. Until Bayern pulled rank and took most of them away.
