I'm guessing that the average American could name more players from the women's national team than the men's.

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I could name more players from the women's team than the men's.

I definitely could. The men's team is average at best with no real superstar. Pulisic is good. So is Reyna. Noone else has broke through though.

This is honestly embarrassing from the PL. I know these things are linear and theres nuance, but i can only assume that the City investigation is taking so long because they are trying to amass how many breaches constitute a direct relegation to league one.

Everton handed 10-point penalty for FFP rule breach
I think that is definitely part of it, also City has stopped cooperating unlike Everton. There is buzz from those that follow this that both City and Chelsea might get relegated after what happened to Everton.

I would be surprised if Chelsea were relegated. My understanding is that the new owners reported the issues that occurred under the previous ownership. So it seems they’re cooperating. I’m not sure how much it matters that the alleged misdeeds were carried out by the previous owners rather than the current ones but it seems like more leniency would be appropriate in Chelsea’s case.

Edit: More than in City’s case that is.

Dest just had a meltdown in the USA game

Mad at a call, punts the ball into the stands, curses out the ref, teammates try to calm him down, blows a kiss to the ref, keeps yelling, gets a red card for it, and multiple teammates are yelling at him as he goes off.

Trinidad immediately scores afterwards too.

What an entertaining trainwreck.

They arent allowed to partake in any Fifa or UEFA sanctioned events, so they have to find the one team that'll play nice with them. Probably had to pay Cuba to play them, to be honest.
Yeah I put two and two together. Just wild to see the Cuban National team travel to Russia for a friendly.

Are the 300 clips of him I’ve seen misleading? Is he actually a real player? What’s going on here?

Me playing out of the back in Weekend League.
