Fair play to Ange. He fought his own worst instincts and parked the bus when he had to. But my god, what an awful final. Terrible football. Incredible that one of these teams is getting rewarded with Champions League football. :laugh:

Yeah, for all the "rivalry" im genuinely happy for Son.

I think Ange is gone. I think for him, its a good way to go out on top. For Spurs, it gives them a bigger pool of managers to pull from now, and you dont want to United it; spend all your money on players for a manager with a unique style who had a rough season, but won a trophy so you give him more rope only to have to tear it all down again.

Big Rom rolled back the years there... sad to see him not have the pace he used to but who cares when you are that strong.

I still laugh everytime I remember him at like 19 years old destroy Carragher when Carragher tried to shoulder him off the ball lmao.

That's brutal for Villa. Its uncanny how you always hear about refs being told to let the play play out and use VAR as their backup. Who knows how it would have ultimately turned out, but thats a tough call.

Mostly feel bad for Forest though. Top 3/5 for most of the season, only to fall apart towards the end. When Villa went 2-0 down i was kind of hoping that we'd concede just to get them into Europa at least.

I did not see the red card. Is that what you guys are referring to? The penalty was straight forward
